RSM Classic 21 Heavy Petting
Heavy Petting 🍑RSM Classic 2021
If golf research were sexual...you'd be rounding 2nd base after this.
Seaside will be the sole course for those making the weekend. Everyone plays 1 round at Plantation either Th or Fr
In 2019 and 2020 (post Plantation renovation), Plantation only played a total of about .17 strokes easier than Seaside. Keep that in mind with DFS stacks, ownership leverage, showdown plays, etc.
Scott Brown & Webb Simpson both remarked that Plantation's green surfaces were tougher with more slope and undulation post renovation.
With wind conditions at 12mph or less, both of these courses are very easy and gettable. Wind & the areas on and around these greens are the only defense.
The cut line recently has averaged around -4 & the median score over 4 rounds in the last few years has been around -8 to -9. Your guys need to be ready to go low.
-17 (Hughes 2016) is the worst winning total in the last 6 years. Streb has won here 2x. Kiz nearly won last year for what would've been his 2nd win.
The average outright winner here over the last 10 years or so is 125/1!

Adam Svensson$6,300 on DK300/1 Outright (DraftKings)+800 for Top 20This marks the 2nd time to the PGA TOUR for the Canadian in large part due to his playoff win in Pat’s gated community at The Landings in Savannah and an early season win at the Nationwide Hospital Championship. A guy named, Sam Burns, also won that event during his KFT season. Svensson finished 11th in the order of merit last season. Svensson’s a 3x winner on the KFT. He can close the door. Last season, he made 33 cuts of 41 events with 19 Top 25s and 8 Top 10s. He played his college golf in south Florida. In terms of his stats on the KFT last season; he finished bottom half in Driving Distance, but 6th in Driving Accuracy, 11th in GIR%, 19th in Scrambling, and 36th in Putting. Despite pop in the bat off the tee, he finished 5th in Eagles and 15th in Birdie or Better %. All in all, Svensson’s an accurate ball striker, solid in windy conditions, with a great short game and putter that could contend in a birdie fest or a grind it out survival track. So far he’s made 3/6 cuts this PGA TOUR season with his best finish a T22 at Mayakoba. Ben Kohles$6,200 on DK300/1 Outright (PointsBet)+750 for Top 20Fun fact: Ben Kohles is old enough that he first gained his PGA TOUR card back in 2013! Were women even allowed to vote at that point…? Geez! Anyway, he finished 23rd on the KFT order of merit last season by making 32 of 41 cuts with 17 top 25s and 7 top 10s. He didn’t notch a win, but he had 2 runner ups and a 3rd place finish. He’s Dallas born, but raised and currently lives in North Carolina. He played at the University of Virginia where he was a 3x All American. He earned his card back in 2013 by winning twice in 10 starts on the KFT, but he didn’t do much his 1st year on the big tour. Like Svensson, Kohles is a short hitter, but 10th in Driving Accuracy last season, 2nd in GIR %, 5th in Scrambling and 42nd in Putting Average. He’s not quite the scorer as Svensson, but he’s likely to thrive on shorter tracks that require precision iron play, good scrambling ability and tracks where -20 isn’t required to win.
