Just checking to make sure Matt Kuchar isn’t still on the 18th at Sedgefield before we get started… A classic d-bag move from old Kuch grabbed most of the headlines coming out of the final regular-season TOUR event of 2024 as the Wyndham didn’t shake up the top 70 on the FedEx Cup points list headed into round one of the playoffs. The next cut is at 50, so those looking to stay alive will have to take advantage of the points and purse boost in Memphis this week.

Over/Unders for the FedEx St. Jude Championship

The weather looks calm (if unbearably hot) for the opening round in Memphis, so we should see some scores well under the par 70. This is a track that Lucas Glover and others have taken deep with winning scores in the mid-to-high teens.

With what should be scoreable conditions, I’m backing a trio of horses for TPC Southwind to bag at least a -2 opening round plus a free square from the WNBA to juice the odds on this uninsured play. BOME!
