HP 🍑 for the 2024 Wyndham Championship

Early week research for betting the 2024 Wyndham Championship on the PGA TOUR

If golf research were sexual…you’d be rounding 2nd base after this.

First Look: Sedgefield CC @ Greensboro, North Carolina

After a phenomenal week in Paris for the Olympics, professional golf returns to its regularly scheduled programming as we begin the home stretch of the 2024 PGA TOUR season. The Wyndham is the final event before the FedEx Cup Playoffs begin next week, and every golfer near the top 70 in the season-long points list will need a strong showing to live to fight another day. It was here in 2023 that Lucas Glover picked off the first of two late wins to propel himself all the way to East Lake, but who will be the surprise player this time around?

Let’s get into it!

Over/Unders for the Wyndham Championship

Tropical storm Debbie rolling through the Southeast makes this week’s handicap a bit trickier. On one hand, soft conditions would mean even lower scores than the low-twenties / high-teens we’ve seen win here in the past. But high winds are also expected, and playing from the rough at Sedgefield can add up to big numbers in a hurry.

That said, I’m rolling with a trio of mudders / strong course history picks to break par 70 amid the elements in round one for this uninsured play.
