If golf research were sexualā¦youād be rounding 2nd base after this.

Check out DBās full Course Breakdown for everything you need to know about this weekās venue including in-depth stats and data from Bet The Number.
Golfās āSternest Testā is back again for the 124th edition of the United States Open. Pinehurst No. 2 plays host for the fourth time and the first since 2014 when Martin Kaymer ran away with an eight-shot victory. Stars, amateurs, LIV golfers and regional qualifiers make up the massive, 156-man field, but do any of them have a chance with Scottie Scheffler in the mix? Coming off his fifth win of 2024 at the Memorial, Scottie has the shortest outright odds at a major since Tiger Woods at the 2009 PGAā¦
Will Scheffler continue this historic run? Or will another Wyndham Clark come along to steal the show? Hereās everything you need to get you ready for this weekās actionā¦

Over/Unders for the US Open
We all know what to expect from a scoring conditions standpoint any time the USGA is involved, but a lack of rain and blistering temperatures add yet another layer of difficulty and intrigue to the first couple of rounds.
Even par will likely be a strong score, but I absolutely have to back Scottie Scheffler to shoot in red figures. He has more wins this year than rounds over par for crying out loud.
Sugar Shane ranks really high in the BTN models this week thanks to elite driving accuracy. Pinehurst is brutal, but not because fairways are impossible to hit ā these are actually wider than the average PGA TOUR venue.
Jack Nicklaus famously said that players who complain about tough course conditions have zero chance of contending, and I think the difficult setup on No. 2 will be too much for Tyrell.
These are the uninsured plays for this week, so hereās hoping for a 3/3 and a big payoutā¦
