Like any week, it appears that weather could play a significant role. It appears the easiest tee times will be early mornings for both Thursday and Friday. The highest wind speed with gusts occur in the 1PM to 4PM windows.

In terms of DFS, it does appear there is a slight advantage to the AM/PM draw. They will have the softest conditions with the least amount of wind. Per Data Golf, the predicted weeklong advantage is 0.2 strokes for the Thursday morning wave.

Make sure to keep an eye on the weather throughout the day to see if the advantage changes. Also, get in that Nut House tonight to join the fun!

As always, final weather thoughts will be discussed tonight in the Nut Hut live chat starting around 9pmET and going until...GET IN THERE!

B. Steele -121 vs. C. Reavie +104

Steele has made his last 8 cuts dating back to the Arnold Palmer Invitational. His last three finishes are T9, T10, and T25. Steele has gained OTT and approach in his last four events.

Reavie has also been playing well over the past 7 events with a win last week at the Barracuda Championship. The last time Reavie won he missed the next two cuts. I am taking the risk that we see a let down from Reavie after last weeks victory.

S. Theegala +123 vs. C. Tringale -144

I think Sahith is close to a win and I think he is the better golfer between him and Tringale. Also, Theegala tee’s off in the AM wave and I think this also gives him an advantage this week. Sahith has gained strokes in four of his last five events with finishes of T5, T53, T2, T16, and T34.

Tringale has also made four of his last five cuts but if you take away Round 1 at the Scottish Open he has been very average. I look to play Tringale at you harder courses with tougher fields.

Give me the value here and what I believe to be the better player.

C. Davis +117 vs. M. McNealy - 137

Both players are trending up recently but I don’t love the travel schedule of McNealy recently. This will be McNealy’s five tournament in a row with travel from Illinois, to Scotland, back to California in a three week span. Yes, in those tournaments he went T8, T16, and T9 with gaining strokes in all 3 tournaments. However, most of those strokes gained were due to the putter.

I believe that Davis fits this course perfectly with his OTT and Approach strengths. Last year, in the final round Davis shot -7 to finish the tournament. I am going to go with a little good mojo from that round in hopes he figured something out.

*DISCLAIMER: The Chalk Bomb is CHALK for a reason! This is a ballsy call. We're simply giving you 1 player projected to be highly owned that we think could warrant a fade in order to gain leverage in DFS GPP Tournaments. Sack up & fade OR Ignore the play.

Going to be hard to follow up the Chalk Bomb performance from last week where Homa (over 20% owned) missed the cut on the number which blew up plenty of lineups!

This week is interesting because you could make the case to fade most of the chalk over 20% which would gain you a lot of leverage this week. I do like all of the golfers with ownership, however, they all do come with some missed cut equity.

I am nervous to put this player as the Chalk Bomb because I do think he is very talented but I just can’t stomach playing a high-owned Chris Gotterup six tour starts into his career. Of those six starts, he has two missed cuts, a T43, and a T35. Yes, he has a T4 and T2. His accuracy OTT can be an issue and with all the water on this course it has me hesitant to go over weight. And, that's what you'd have to do if you are considering playing him. You need to plan on doubling that 25% ownership. Can you imaging having 50% Chris Gotterup...? Another negative is that he tee’s off in the afternoon wave. For now, the PM/AM wave looks to deal with the worst wind conditions.

At +25% (top 3 highest) projected ownership, Christopher Gotterup, you are the Chalk Bomb!

Where is the evidence? I need some dog glasses to see what they actually see for proof. I still just can't trust flushable wipes. I think plumbers approve these to give themselves more work to be honest. Alright, that’s all I got for this week. I hope you enjoy 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities. Stay well, good luck with your lineups and bets, and may your screens be green! Bome!
